Salutatorian 2016 - Yoav Benoit Fitoussi
My name is Yoav Fitoussi. I am 28 years old, originally from Israel. I accepted Christ into my life when I was 18 years old and received the calling into ministry when I was 23 years old. I love studying God’s word and I enjoy spending hours reading from it. I love doing ministry. When I engage in it, I feel that I am doing what I was born to do. My time at Beulah Heights has helped me grow in the area God has called me to serve in and to acquire tools that will assist me in my calling.
I heard about Beulah Heights from my former pastor and a former teacher at the school who attended that congregation. I visited it several times until God brought me here to begin my education in the summer of 2012. I fell in love with the school from day one. I loved my professors and I got to meet new friends. This school exposed me to different cultures and it helped me to understand and grow in my appreciation of the diversity of people that God has created in our world. I was also determined to take my studies very seriously. I believe that a person’s attitude towards their studies is a reflection of their attitude towards every aspect of their lives. I have also grown in my understanding of God’s Word and it’s application in my life. In addition, during my time at Beulah, God revealed what He has called me to do in the ministry, which is to be a pastor. This school has blessed me tremendously and I know that wherever the Lord takes me, I will always have a special place in my heart for Beulah Heights University.
